Develop a Mindfulness practice, consider using a Mindset app!




Create positive thoughts and feelings towards yourself and others using words of affirmation through mantras or posted notes.



Talk it out

Talk to someone (Talking things out can release unhealthy thoughts and feelings. Think of it as clearing out the trash can of thoughts in your mind so it does not overflow.)


Maintain strong boundaries by saying no when you are feeling overwhelmed or worn out.



Journaling has been shown to improve overall mood and well-being. Journaling also offers a safe space to work out thoughts and feelings. 

Get some fresh air and take nature walks or start a garden


Get quiet and settle in, meditation can be a great way to start your day and set your intentions. 


Consider implimenting one minute breathing exercises throughout the day when you feel anxiety picking up.

Self Care can mean something different for everyone! 

Maybe self care is getting a massage, but maybe it’s putting in the hard work to cook nutritious food for yourself. 

Practice yoga to release stress, anxiety, depression, etc.

Drinking water first thing in the morning has been shown to aid the lymphatic system, which in turn can help build a strong immune system! 

Try to implement eating more veggies and less processed foods.

Declutter- a cluttered space equals a cluttered mind. It has been shown that minimizing can create a calmer mind. 

Listen to music that makes you happy, feel good and that boosts your mood!

Go outside, look up, connect with the environment. Exercises to use your senses.

Be intentional to include all important food groups into your diet. A healthy amount of protein, fat and carbs are all essential to support a healthy brain and body.
